The purpose of this role is to provide functional support to our Sage X3 clients, ensuring their satisfaction and effective use of the software. The Sage X3 Functional Consultant will act as a technical expert, resolving support requests, delivering training, and guiding clients on best practices within the system.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, or ticketing platform, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues related to Sage X3, including configuration errors, integration problems, and performance issues.
  • Training: Deliver training sessions to end users on Sage X3 functionalities, adapting content to each client’s specific needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including procedures, user manuals, and solutions for recurring issues.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their requests.
  • Incident Management: Use ticketing systems to log and track support requests, ensuring resolution within agreed deadlines.
  • Project Participation: Collaborate on Sage X3 implementation or improvement projects when required, contributing technical expertise.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with new Sage X3 features and updates by participating in training sessions and workshops.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in ERP software support, preferably Sage X3
  • Strong knowledge of Sage X3 functionalities
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with technical support tools and incident management systems
  • Availability for flexible working hours if needed
  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sage X3 certification
  • Experience across multiple Sage X3 modules
  • Knowledge of SQL databases
  • Experience with system integrations
